Uncharted Trophy Tips

August 8, 2008

So I’ve collected 74% of the Trophies in Uncharted. But I’m really only missing 4. The Expert Dyno-Might, Steel Fist Expert, Charted! Crushing and Platinum Trophies. I already know how to get the rest of these so by weekend’s end I’ll have 100%(depending on how frustrated i get with Crushing) so i decided to give you, the readers some tips on getting the harder Trophies

Treasure Trophies

There are a total of 14 Trophies that have to do with treasures. Getting all 14 in one playthrough will be a breeze while using this guide. It gives you pictures and sometimes videos to get the trickier treasures. Credit goes to Eric for sending me that Treasure Guide.

Steel Fist

Ok this one is especially annoying for one reason, the description is VERY misleading. It says Kill five enemies with a single punch, after softening them up with gunfire/kill five enemies in a row in the same way. What it does NOT tell you is that only gunfire used under blind fire counts. Aiming and then trying will result in the kill not counting. The easiest way is to use a pistol, run towards the enemy shooting 2 rounds then use your melee attack. This should work unless you have like a deagle or something.

Run-and-Gunner

The easiest way for this one is to wait until the later chapters when your surrounded by enemies with Eddy(you know the one) and use the shotgun to blindfire/kill them all. Its easy to get this no matter what, just might take a lot of ammo.

Hangman/Grenade Hangman

These are best taken care of at the beginning chapters who have a lot of ledges. If you have a ledge you can hang from that also gives you some cover take it and start shooting away. If possible use grenades so it counts towards both Trophies.

Weapon Trophies

Most weapon Trophies will come with ease but some of the power weapons might be a problem due to lack of ammo/the times you use it. For things like the sniper rifle or deagle its best to let yourself die a few times because your kills still count. So lets say you have a sniper rifle with 5 shots. Kill 5 people die, do that segment over again. After 6 tries you should have the Trophy.

Headshots

Just aim for the head, have some patience and don’t shoot like a maniac.

Stealth Attacker/Brutal Melees

Same kind of strategy as the Weapon Trophies, find a good spot where you can get the kills easy, die, rinse and repeat.

Dyno-Might/Expert Dyno-Might

A good spot for these Trophies is during Chapter 4 Plane Wrecked. After finding the plane you’ll enter an area with the M79 Grenade Launcher. After killing the first swarm climb on to where the enemy with the M79 was. Grab the M79 and duck behind the cover. You will see a few enemies go through the tree in the middle. Right before a pair of enemies runs through shoot the M79. You will know when you get it the first time because the Trophy/Medal will be unlocked. Die and repeat this process. It will take a bit of time but after a few minutes you should have been able to do it 5 times netting you the Expert Dyno-Might Trophy.

Those are my tips to help you rack up the Trophies in Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune. Check out our full review Here.

Is that why you haven’t even collected one yet? 😛

I now have 100% of the Uncharted Trophies. Once you get 100% a mini Platinum Trophy Icon appears in front of the % number.
